Pirelli F1 Tyres
Sole tyre supplier since 2011 — six slick compounds plus intermediate and full wet
The most durable compound in the range, designed for circuits requiring maximum resistance to heat and extreme forces.
The C1 can last over 40 laps at some circuits — nearly a full race distance without pitting.
The second-hardest compound, suited for faster, hotter, and more abrasive circuits. Often nominated for new tracks where data is limited.
The C2 is often the "safe choice" for new circuits where Pirelli has no historical tyre data.
The most versatile compound, offering an excellent balance between performance and durability. Can be the hard, medium, or soft tyre depending on the selection.
The C3 is the only compound that has been nominated as hard, medium, AND soft at different races in the same season.
Designed for low-severity circuits where quick warm-up is essential to reach peak performance rapidly. Heats up faster for immediate grip.
Drivers can feel the difference between C3 and C4 within the first corner of an out-lap — the C4 bites immediately.
Reserved for the slowest circuits with minimal tyre wear, where maximum mechanical grip is required from the rubber. Typically used on smooth asphalt.
On a qualifying lap with the C5, a driver can extract up to 2 seconds more than the hardest compound at the same circuit.
The softest compound in the range, introduced in 2025. Limited to city circuits where high degradation leads to more pit stops and unpredictable racing.
The C6 was introduced specifically to make street circuit races more exciting — expect 3+ pit stop strategies.
Versatile rain tyre for damp tracks without standing water, or for drying surfaces. Has a wide working range that bridges the gap between slicks and full wets.
The Intermediate can disperse up to 30 litres of water per second at full speed — that's enough to fill a bathtub in under 5 seconds.
Maximum wet weather protection, capable of dispersing impressive quantities of water with increased aquaplaning resistance. Used in heavy rainfall conditions.
Full wet tyres can displace up to 85 litres of water per second — equivalent to emptying an entire bathtub every second at 300 km/h.

FSC Certified Natural Rubber
Since 2024, Pirelli has used Forest Stewardship Council certified natural rubber in their F1 tyres — approximately 15% of total tyre weight — making them the world's first sustainably sourced F1 tyres.
