Fresh Upgrade Package Incoming
According to Motorsport.com, Cadillac has revealed a new upgrade package for the Canadian Grand Prix this weekend. The squad's maiden F1 car, the MAC-26, will be fitted with an updated front wing, floor, diffuser and rear suspension—among other components.
Building on Miami Modifications
This latest upgrade follows a package of modifications introduced at the Miami Grand Prix, which included similar aerodynamic and suspension revisions. Motorsport.com reported that qualifying performance at Miami showed mixed results, with the team facing a 0.3 second deficit to the Q2 cutoff time in sprint qualifying.
Performance Recovery Effort
Crash.net reported that Cadillac is in a "massive hurry to find performance," underlining the urgency behind the continued development push ahead of the Canadian round. The back-to-back upgrade packages suggest a systematic approach to addressing the competitiveness gap that emerged during the opening phase of the season.
